5 Tips For A Fun, Joyful and Memorable Wedding Processional
Instead of having your family and wedding party process down the aisle before the bride, consider a completely new and brilliant processional idea:
1) Next, its the Bride! Once at the front, and when the bride and groom are together and after greeting all parents and immediate family members, the wedding party then processes down the aisle and is greeted at the front by the bride and groom.
Talk about a very unique processional order and ceremony opening!
2) Jazz Up Your Processional With Dance Moves: If your wedding ceremony is casual, nontraditional or off-beat, consider having your family members and/or wedding party dance down the aisle.
3) Start Your Processional With A Childrens Parade: To begin your processional and as music for the seating of family, consider having a group of young children process down the aisle in an informal “music parade” complete with drums, tambourines, shakers and horns. Once the children are at the front, you could transition to more traditional music for the wedding party and the bride.
4) Processional Introductions For Family and Wedding Party: Instead of full-on wedding music for the seating of the family, wedding party and bride, consider this “introduction idea” for your processional. With music playing more quietly in the background, your DJ or MC introduces each family member and/or wedding party member as they begin their trip down the aisle, to the applause of family and friends.
